Get Involved in the Prestonwood Orchestra!

“The orchestra provides the support, the background during worship. It creates the feeling of what the music is all about. It sets the tone and creates all the underpinnings of what the vocalists can do. We want it to be as good as if you were listening to a recording.” (Larry Brubaker, Director of Worship Administration)

The Prestonwood Orchestra is an all-volunteer group of experienced musicians who enjoy using their God-given gifts to praise Him through music. Our musicians have a wide range of experience from amateur to professional – and everything in between. We believe that God calls certain people to the Instrumental Music Ministry here at Prestonwood.

If you are an experienced musician and are feeling led to being part of this Instrumental Music Ministry, please fill out the get involved form and pick “Instrumental Music” as your ministry of choice.

Our staff will be sure to respond to your indication of interest.

VISITORS: Prospective members are asked to visit orchestra rehearsal at least 3 times and then be approved by director before playing in services. (Some exceptions are made based on experience and ability). The Prestonwood Orchestra rehearses in the Orchestra Room on Wednesday evenings from 6:45-8:15 p.m. If you are interested in visiting an orchestra rehearsal or need additional information, please contact Larry Brubaker.
